After last week's top twenty episode and last night's showcase, I feel confident in saying that a guy is going to win this year's season of SYTYCD. This past May, the prize went to the very deserving Jeanine, one of only two females to win the competition over the past five seasons. This year, it looks like it's going to be another male who will be winning. Of course, I have no idea what I'm talking about this early, but I think it's a solid bet.Right now, if I were a betting man, I'd lay odds that Russell Ferguson will be in the top four and probably win. I think Kevin Hunte will also distinguish himself, but will probably not be able to beat Russell on charm, presence, and overall raw talent. You can also expect Nathan Trasoras to go deep into the competition, probably into the top four.
Among the girls, Channing Cooke might be an early favorite and I think Ellenore Scott may emerge as a come-out-of-nowhere contender. Still, the smart money is on Russell right now.

Good call on Russell, Dave; he is my favorite guy by far. I am not sure that he will make it to the final four, but I would be very happy if he did.
